Brandi T. Brown

Brandi T. Brown is the founder and Executive Director of HYPE Freedom School, Inc., a leader in culturally affirming, literacy-based youth programs. A proud Houstonian, her passion for service began at SMU, where she was introduced to the CDF Freedom Schools®. After 23 years as a partner, HYPE now leads with its own trust-based relational model, building capacity and sustainability while honoring CDF best practices. Brandi also co-founded Black Impact Houston and champions mental health, mentorship, and equity. With a Master's in Counseling from Prairie View A&M, she is a devoted wife, mother, and faith-driven servant leader.
