Founder/CEO of Choose to DO, Inc.

My name is Dozie Oheri and I am the Founder/CEO of Choose to DO, Inc. I started the organization because I was frustrated with the lack of care that I witnessed working and volunteering in the nonprofit industry, and with that frustration I decided to create my own nonprofit to build healthier relationships between nonprofits and the communities they served.

Choose to DO, Inc. is a nonprofit founded March 8, 2016. Our mission is to build confidence and esteem for black youth 12-17 years old to embrace healthy mental development by introducing them to applicable skills and resources that foster socioemotional well-being. We believe that changing children’s mindsets changes their outcomes because Choose to DO, Inc. Is for the next generation!
