Secunda aka “For The People Bae” is foremost an advocate and justice worker for her community. Liberation work is holistic. Secunda has found Yoga & Kemetic Yoga in particular a tool to aid in the liberation movement. Holistic practices including meditation are the foundation of her work. She offers Kemetic Yoga classes for adults, children & seniors. Along the way she found that her work was based on humanitarianism. She uses abolitionist principles & concepts to create, build & work alongside the community.

A native Houstonian (with strong southern Louisiana roots)She is a Co-founder and Director of Smart Media & Organizing with ImagiNoir/BLMHTX a collective, who aims to educate, empower & build coalitions in order to address issues that impact black lives in the city of Houston. Secunda regularly trains and consults with community and religious leaders on how to build effective coalitions for social movement & justice work. She's host of Imagine A World, a radio show that airs on All Real Radio. Imagine A World highlights the radical imagination of Black folks across the diaspora who are creating a world we can breathe in.
