When we think about holistic mental health, our diets definitely need a seat at the (dinner) table! What we put into our bodies plays into how we feel physically, mentally & emotionally. But if you look at white-washed "healthy" eating guides, our cultural foods are nowhere to be found 🤔 Instead, imposed health standards are often inaccessible to BIPOC communities, while language around diet culture upholds these oppressive standards.
